Vendor Information

Load In and Load Out

  • Load In for the event will take place at the Allen Event Center BACK OF HOUSE ONLY.

  • Early Check-in/Set-up: You can begin unloading/booth set-up at 2:00pm on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 23. Early check-in and set-up will close at 6:00pm.

  • Day of event Check-in/Set-up: Event day check-in and set-up will start at 10:00am on WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 24. Day of Check-in/Set-up will close at 3:30pm.

  • Back of house closes at 3:30pm

  • The Allen Event Center will not allow vendors to enter or exit the event from anywhere besides back of house

  • Booth take down will begin at 8:30pm please do not break down your booth before this time.

  • All people must exit the building by 10:00pm

  • Please note - back of house is a load/unload zone only. Parking is not allowed.

  • Please print load/unload permit and place on dash

Set-up

  • Begins at 2:00pm on 10/23 (2-6pm) and 10/24 from 10:00am-3:30pm

  • All booths should be set-up no later than 3:30pm

  • ABSOLUTELY NO HELIUM BALLOONS

  • No pins, tape or fasteners of ANY KIND on the pipe and drape

  • Painters Tape or Command Strips are the only adhesives allowed on walls

  • Each vendor must provide their own dolly, none are available for use.

  • We provide a table, table sign, and easel

  • Chairs are available for use

    • you can retrieve from back of house

  • Please provide your own table covering​

    • Tables provided range from 6-8ft. ​

Break Down

  • Begins no earlier than 8:30pm

  • Please leave:

    • chairs​

    • table

    • table signs

    • easel

  • All vendors must load through back of house​

    • nothing may be transported through any glass door​

  • Clean your area​

    • deposit trash in available receptacles​

Samples

  • Samples of food and beverage items may be handed out at your booth.

  • The Allen Event Center does not allow samples larger than 2 ounces to be handed out.

  • Any full size samples must be closed items that can go into Swag Bags as they are given

    • not to be consumed on the premises.

  • This does not apply to fruits/ vegetables that are in their natural state or non food items.

  • No food preparation without a permit

    • no cooking on site​

Electricity

If electricity was requested:

  • an $85 surcharge was billed with your invoice 

    • ​​Notification of exact electrical needs is requested.
